The AMPN organized a conference on March 8 at 8 p.m. at the Maison des Associations de Monaco (2 bis Promenade Honoré II). This conference, led by Professor Patrice Francour of the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, addressed the following theme:
« New species in the Mediterranean: a changing sea »
New species are regularly observed along the Mediterranean coasts in France and Monaco. Warming and climate change are often put forward to explain these arrivals. Is it as simple as that? Are other causes possible? What are the future consequences of these arrivals?
