Today, the official launch of the MEA project Generation 3 took place with the 7ème A class of Fontvieille School.
The concept of MEA, born in the Marquesas Islands at the request of children who wanted to protect their immediate environment, was explained to the students.
They then watched a film presenting the MEA site and some of its terrestrial and marine peculiarities.
This initial approach led to the formation within the class of the "Children's Council for the Sea," which will meet regularly to consider actions to be taken throughout the school year.
As with generations 1 and 2, the students' enthusiasm demonstrates the importance of raising awareness about environmental protection.
