Marine Educative Area "Generation 4": Intervention of the Direction de l'Environnement

Marine Educative Area

Today, the Direction de l’Environnement engaged with the 7ème A students of Fontvieille School.

Miss Julie Davenet and Messrs. Vincent Gaglio and Ludovic Aquilina organized various workshops at the AME site. Their intervention began with an initiation to the use of binoculars, essential for naturalistic observations, and explanations regarding the nest boxes installed in Monaco to protect "urban birds." It continued with a focus on the specific flora found at the AME site, followed by information related to fauna, including certain species such as bats or geckos. The outing concluded with the observation of cormorant nests located on the cliffs near the Oceanographic Museum.

Another beautiful moment for the 4th generation of AME, experiencing firsthand the importance of preserving biodiversity!
