This morning, the students of 7ème A at Fontvieille School visited their MEA.
With the assistance of Dr. Heike Molenaar, their scientific advisor, they explored various ecosystems: the solarium, cliffs, the wreck of the Toulonnais and the surrounding sand, open water, natural rocks, and the fisherman's beach. They greatly appreciated the numerous explanations about biodiversity provided to them.
Subsequently, they diagrammed the main elements of the AME, and each student came up with a "symbolic" word summarizing the presentation.
The session concluded with the deployment of the fish trap, into which each student placed a piece of waste. This trap will be retrieved every two months to analyze the degradation time according to a predefined protocol.
