Marine Educative Area "Generation 4": Waste degradation monitoring

Our aspiring researchers from the 7^ème A class at Fontvieille School, responsible for the MEA this year, have personally observed the evolution and degradation (or lack thereof) of the waste they submerged on October 14th.

The "natural" waste (orange peel, apple core, etc.) has already disappeared, while plastic or metal waste is still present (and will be for a long time).

There is nothing better than personal experience to get a hands-on feel for this major environmental issue.
