Marine Educative Area "Generation 5" : Painting Workshop

Marine Educative Area

Students in the 7ème A class at École Saint-Charles continue to work to raise awareness of the preservation of cetaceans.

After a first meeting with Mr. Anthony Alberti alias Mr OneTeas on March 16, the artist today guided them in the creation of an artwork on the theme of cetaceans using water based, non-toxic and environmentally friendly spray paints.

A quick tutorial from the artist allowed them to learn how to use the materials and become familiar with painting techniques in order to create their individual work. Paintings were also painted by project stakeholders and certain partners to demonstrate their commitment to the preservation of cetaceans. These individual works will subsequently be assembled to form a single collective artwork aimed at raising public awareness of the threats weighing on cetaceans and conservation issues.

Thanks again to Anthony for his commitment to children. A big THANK YOU to ACCOBAMS for making this artistic achievement possible and to the Pelagos Agreement for their participation and support.

Program supported by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the Monaco Government.
