Marine Educative Area “Generation 6” : Ecological Diagnosis

Thursday October 19, Dr Alexis Pey (Thalassa Marine research & Environmental awareness) presented to the students the ecological diagnosis of the MEA allowing them to better understand the species and habitats found underwater in the MEA.

After presenting some remarkable fish species (the brown meagre and the dusky grouper) present in the MEA, the different habitats were exposed as well as the data collection methods.

Finally, the anthropogenic pressures exerted on the MEA were explained and the students, as managers of this space for the year 2023-2024, were asked to propose management and regulation measures.
