Marine Educative Area "Generation 6": TV news n°1

Marine Educative Area

With great pleasure, we unveil the very first television news broadcast of Class 7A at Saint Charles School.

This news program, hosted by Morgane and Noah, addresses the main themes of MEA. It was initiated entirely by the students, conceived and created by them, and despite a few small errors, we are very proud of their commitment, intellectual curiosity, and the wealth of knowledge gained since October.

The first report, produced by Trisha and Bianca, explores the concept of AME by highlighting different generations and projects, as well as the location of the site, the protected species residing there, and the methods of disseminating vulgarization messages.

The second report introduces the Pelagos Sanctuary, dedicated to the preservation of cetaceans in the Mediterranean, within which the MEA is located. Oscar explains, in English, the different species of marine mammals in the sanctuary and the threats they face.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the children for initiating this television news program; we look forward to the upcoming episodes!

Program supported by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the Government of Monaco.
