World Oceans Day 2020 and Marine Educative Area

Marine Educative Area

On Monday 8 June, the pupils of the 7ème A of the Ecole des Révoires finalized their action project for the sea in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco who came to lay the first plaque "Here begins the sea".

This children's project was carried out in partnership with the Direction de l'Aménagement Urbain and the Société Monégasque d'Assainissement. The plaques will be placed all along the marine educative area, between the Oceanographic Museum and the Port Hercule floating breakwater. They were produced with the support of the Atelier G Company.

This highlight, witnessing the commitment of children to the protection of the seas and oceans, brought together around them on the occasion of World Oceans Day all the actors invested in their preservation. Proof that the marine educative area is a unifying project for all the institutions of the Principality of Monaco.

A big BRAVO to the students of "Generation 2". Succession is already assured for the next school year since the Ecole de Fontvieille will take over with the "Generation 3".
