Marine Protected Areas
As part of the management of the Marine Protected Areas of Monaco, numerous citizen science operations were carried out during the summer with the help of volunteer divers from the AMPN.
These monitoring activities complement the programs conducted by the staff and scientific team of the AMPN, as well as the State Services, including the Direction de l’Environnement.
After monitoring fauna and flora, inspecting and photographing artificial reefs, a survey of macro debris was conducted on Tuesday, August 24, in the Larvotto MPA ahead of a future cleaning operation.
