As part of theRAMOGE agreement, waste monitoring campaigns are carried out twice a year.
These campaigns follow scientific and standardized procedures. They aim to identify the waste found on beaches in order to take the necessary measures to limit it.
AMPN volunteers and members of the Fairmont Hotel social fund joined in this operation to collect, identify and quantify the waste. A convivial morning and edifying observations.
Plastics represent 80% of the waste collected. And we recovered… 1181 cigarette butts!!!!!
